I am passionate about cooking but above all about oils, from organic to evo up to flavored.
I think that using quality oils in the kitchen gives an edge to every dish that you cook.
But let’s start with the second recipe of the week!
Today I propose a quick and easy recipe but of great taste:
LIGHT TOMATO SAUCE WITH RAW MARCHESI GALLO OIL
1Kg peeled tomatoes
30gr Marchesi Gallo olive oil
1 clove of garlic
basil as needed
salt to taste
Pour the well-drained peeled tomatoes, onion, garlic and a pinch of salt into a blender.
Pour the all in a saucepan and cook for 20 minutes over medium heat. Once our sauce is cooked, add a couple of basil leaves and Marchesi Gallo raw oil, let it rest for a few minutes.
Excellent for seasoning pasta, but also meatballs and all preparations that require sauce tomato! Since Marchesi Gallo oil is of excellent quality, it is also perfect for our children.
